Common questions

How do I create a sign-up sheet?

Open your dashboard and tap New sheet. Start from scratch or pick a template, add your slots, tasks, or items, then share the link. People sign up with just a name and email — no account required.

Do people need an account to sign up?

No. Only organizers need an account. Participants sign up from the shared link in seconds.

How do reminders work?

On paid plans, MySignMeUp can email participants an automatic reminder before the event and nudge open slots. Every email includes a one-tap opt-out.

How do I manage my subscription or billing?

Manage your plan from Settings. For anything billing-related, email us and we'll sort it out quickly.

How do I export or delete my data?

Export any sheet to CSV from its manage screen, on every plan. To delete your account, visit our account deletion page. For other data requests, see our Privacy Policy or email us.

Someone signed up by mistake — can they remove themselves?

Yes. Every confirmation email has a one-tap link to cancel that sign-up, and you can remove anyone from the roster yourself on the sheet's manage screen. If the sheet has a waitlist, the next person is promoted automatically when a slot frees up.

Can I reuse a sheet for a recurring event?

Save any sheet as a template and start a fresh one each time, which keeps each occurrence's roster separate. For something that repeats on a schedule, set up a recurring series instead and each date gets its own slots.

Why can people not sign up any more?

Three common reasons: the sheet hit its close time, every slot is full, or the organizer is on the free plan and has reached the monthly sign-up limit — see pricing for the current limits. The sheet stays visible in all three cases.
